Tax refund when stopped working for 6+ months

Hello -I completed a form online for a tax refund for this tax year as I will no longer be working or claiming benefits or pension. I received a letter a month ago to confirm repayment accepted but the letter said you couldn’t give me a timeline on when id receive payment. How do I escalate this?

You would need to contact HMRC to access your record to check on the claim.
