Hi, I have a query regarding the double taxation rule. If a person moves from the US to the UK for family reasons and lives in the UK for more than 180 days while maintaining full-time employment with a US company and paying taxes in the US, I assume that this person will need to declare their income through self-assessment and can claim foreign tax relief under the double taxation agreement between the US and the UK. Could you please clarify whether this is the correct tax treatment? Thank you!
