Hi, I received a letter about more information needed on for Self Assessment. However, I checked again and I do not need to submit the self assessment form. Is that okay to ignore the letter? Do I still need to continue fill in a new form online ?

What if this is the first time to send the self assessment but received the letter the information is not enough to process. And I do not have the UTR number?

Hi ,

You will need to register for Self Assessment and receive your UTR before you can file your tax return.

If you are unable to file online then you will need to contact HMRC to review see :

Self Assessment: general enquiries  .

Thank you .
