Good morning, I am an International student (EU citizen) under a student Visa currently enrolled as a PhD student in a UK university. I receive from the UK university a studentship of 20.000£ per year. I have been involved in an international research project (Italian funder) recently and I have been awarded of 6.000 euros. I know there is a double taxation agreement between Italy and the UK. Do I need to pay taxes in the UK for the 6.000euros fund I received? If not, do I need to pay taxes in Italy instead? I am not an italian resident anymore since I have spent more than 6 months outside Italy and I have been signed up into AIRE system (Association for the Italian residents abroad). Thank you

Thank you. However, it's not clear yet whether I should pay taxes on the 6.000 euros extra on top of my scholarship (and how and to whom I can pay them) Best
