Hello, I receive a pension from one of the Austrian pension providers and to receive the pension without tax deduction in Austria they request me to submit form ZSQU1, the Austrian Declaration by individuals for the purpose of tax treaty relief at source according to Sec. 2 of the ordinance on DTC-relief, Federal Gazette III, No. 92/2005 as amended in Federal Gazette II, No. 44/2006 and the Double Taxation Convention between Austria and, in my case United Kingdom. I have requested HMRC, PAYE & Self Assessment to provide me with the necessary certification on form ZSQU1, but I haven’t received any feedback yet. No acknowledgement of receipt of my request nor any other communication. How to I ensure that I can receive such a confirmation from HMRC.

Hi Dieter,
We do have a backlog of post at present so you may want to contact our Self Assessment helpline to ensure this has been received and for a timescale for a reply.
Self Assessment: general enquiries
Thank you.
