Proof of Non-Tax Status

Hi All, I am a UK citizen that is no longer a tax paying citizen of the UK (I have filled in and have had a confirmed receipt of for P85). The government if the country I now live in needs some form of official document confirming this fact in very explicit terms, so that it may be officially translated - for local tax purposes. Does anyone know of any way I can obtain this? Thanks

Hi,
 
You would need to write in asking us to send confirmation that you ar no longer  UK tax resident and
we will send a reply to confirm which date it applies from.

Write to HMRC, PAYE & Self Assessment
              BX9 1AS  .
