Hi - I want to ensure that the my estimated income from employment is recorded accurately on HMRC so that my tax code is correct. I am not sure whether I should include an annual bonus in this estimated income. For example: Base salary pa = £50,000 Annual bonus pa (paid as a one off in Jan/Fed each year) = Variable based on performance between £10,000 and £20,000. Should I state that my estimated income is £50,000 base salary only or £60,000 / £70,000 including the annual bonus. Or perhaps £65,000 as a midway point including the bonus. Thanks for any advice on this query.

Hi interbear,
You would need to include an estimate for your bonus when updating your estimated income.
Thank you.
