Need Assistance for Receiving 2021-2022 Tax Refund Via BACS Instead of Cheque

Hello, I've moved to Greece and missed receiving my 2021-2022 tax refund cheque sent to my old UK address. I want to get the refund via BACS to my bank account. I do have a Personal Tax Account. Can you please help me with: 1. How do I set up a BACS transfer in my Personal Tax Account for this? 2. Can the cheque be canceled and switched to BACS? Thank you

Hi niktheodor,
If the repayment was sent as a cheque we would not be able to repay by BACS.
You can deposit the cheque in a UK bank account.
The other option if you no longer have a UK account we can repay to a nominee.
You would need to contact HMRC with the nominee's details.
