Part pay SA through making part payment

Hi Hmrc My SA tax bill is less than £3000 and I elected to have my tax paid through adjustment of my tax code. I want to make a part payment against this so I can reduce the amount of tax collected through my tax code. How do I do this? I seemed to get different answers from the helpline, one person noted I could send a cheque but not sure to who / where etc? Just seems a bit odd that cheque as these are phasing out. Any option to pay electronically? Thanks
