Yesterday I was trying to get a self assessment when I noticed that my main adress and postal adress were incorrect. I attempted to changed the address but only got the change after I said I moved in last month when I have lived there for years. My address has been fixed now but it conflicts with my self assessment saying I have lived there for over 3 years. Do I need to contact you inorder to prevent conflict and to correct my move in date and remove the previous address that I have never lived in? If so how do I contact you? I tried finding a way to contact HMRC and I didn't get much help from the phone so I am trying here.

Hi,
One you update your address, the information filters through to all of your records.
As long as the correct address is on record, when you input the details, everything should match.
Thank you.
