Hi all, I've just updated my address online and I have my contact preferences set to "email". I know some financial organisations send out a "confirmation of address change" letter and it's really important that this doesn't go to my old address (abusive relationship, doesn't know I am leaving). Could someone let me know whether HMRC send out change of address confirmation letters by post? I tried to call but it just went through the automated options and then hung up. Thanks so much for any info

Hi,
If you update your address online we do not automatically send out a change of address letter.
If you have updated your address then any correspodence will now go to the new address going forward.
Thank you.
