Hi, I am an Australian National that has indefinite leave to remain in the UK. I work for an U.K. employer and was hoping to work remotely in Australia for a few weeks. For example, work for 3-5 weeks. Is there any ramifications for my employer and/or myself with regard to PAYE, tax and National Insurance? Is there a maximum length I could remote work there before it becomes an issue? I am about to enquire with the Australian Tax Office (A.T.O.) to make sure they are also happy on their end. As I am an Australian, there are no Visa issues to worry about. Many thanks.

I have checked with the ATO and I am not a tax resident there, if that helps
