Hi ! I worked during 2 years in London, from October 2021 to October 2023. I went back to France, as my contract ended, and I received by mailbox in France one Tax repayment for the year 2023-2024. Then a couple of weeks later, I received another Tax repayment for the year 2021-2022. The amount of the repayment are not the same, and the cheques too, but I was wondering if that's normal to receive two repayment ? I know that if HMRC make a mistake, I'm supposed to report it to them, that's why first I want to make sur that it's normal to receive two different repayement of Income Tax. Thank you and have a nice day !

Hi Hugo Bussiere,
These repayments are most likely end of year reconciliations that have factored in unused tax-free allowances for the 21/22 and 23/24 tax years.
