I have a new UTR but logging in to Personal Tax Account with Government Gateway ID my old UTR remains tied to it. Creating a new Government Gateway ID does not work as the previous one is detected. The agent who gave me the new UTR failed to mention this would be a problem and now I am faced with another arduous 1 hr phone call during working hours. Will this be easily remedied? Any experiences?
