Hi all, I am slowly losing the will to live trying to calculate my adjusted net income for my self assessment. I had a baby this year and need to pay back some of the child benefit I have received as I earn over £50k, but I can't work out how to calculate my adjusted net income. So, my P60 says I earned £56,674.68 last year. My pension is usually taken via salary sacrifice, however it wasn't while i was on maternity leave. When i total up my gross pay from my payslips, i earned £58,197.96. I paid £1779.68 to my pension via salary sacrifice and £1523.28 via deductions. Do I need to calculate anything, or is the £56674.68 my adjusted net income? Thanks for any help!

Hi Kylie,

You should use the £56674.88 figure as your adjusted net income amount.

Thank you.
