Tax when you get a pension - Pension Statement

https://www.gov.uk/tax-on-pension/how-your-tax-is-paid I've just started receiving my state pension. The tax on my work pension has been adjusted to reflect that, as indicated in the gov.uk advice. However, the amount of state pension I've received doesn't compare to what I was expecting from my forecast. I'm surprised that there is nowhere where I can get a monthly statement of my state pension, or have I missed something? My tax is going to be complicated enough to sort out as it is....
