Hi, Some your threads replies don't match with the gov.uk information and i need to clarify the following: I am Non-resident and I have earn ONLY interest by National Savings & Investments. No any other type of income in UK 1. Should I fill HS300 Non-residents and investment income and submit to self assessment ? 2. If yes how much may be the tax that I need to pay for around 8000 ? 3. If no why ? Because tax is 0 or because this type of income is not taxable and should be declare it to my home country ? Thanks in advance

According 'double taxation treaty' between Switzerland and United Kingdom where is the earned interest by National Savings & Investments taxable? Switzerland or United Kingdom ? Thanks

Certain types of income from National Savings and Investments (NSI) are tax exempt in the UK:
Savings and investment income: tax exempt savings
Article 11 relates to all types of interest:
