I am an Italian citizen with settled status. My mother lives in Italy and she is going to sell her flat and buy a new one there. She is thinking to give me bare ownership while she will be the one living in the property until she will die. Do I have to pay any taxes here or declare the bare ownership? Many tahnks for your help.

Hi,
There would be nothing you need to do at this time. You may find you have UK capital gains tax to pay if you dispose of the property at some time in the future. Current guidance and a helpful calculator can be found at:
Tax when you sell property
Thank you
