Hi, My earnings before tax in 23/24 are £75,270. I have made a payment of £20k into my SIPP and received £5k basic tax relief. Would I be entitled to claim a further £5k relief based on the higher rate of tax I pay? Also, would my adjusted net income be £50,270 OR £45,270 Many thanks

Hi Hurricane75,
You can claim Higher Rate Tax Relief, which will give you a further 20% tax relief.
You reduce your net adjusted income by the goss payments made to your pension scheme, wich would reduce your income by £25000.
Thank you.
