Good Afternoon, I am planning to move to Italy and work remotely full-time for my UK employer. I would like to understand the implications of this decision. As a citizen of both Italy and the UK, I plan to return to the UK for a maximum of three weeks per tax year, and my UK job will be my only source of income. I have a few questions: 1. Do I need to complete a P85 form, and how long before my departure should I submit this form? 2. Are there any other forms I need to complete? 3. Will I still be required to pay PAYE and National Insurance contributions? While I won’t be using the NHS (as I will contribute to the Italian healthcare system), I want to ensure that my pension contributions are maintained. 4. Previously, my income from Italy, such as rental income, was taxed in both Italy and the UK. Now that I will be living solely in Italy, will this income still be taxed in the UK? Thank you for your assistance.
