Lisa transfer contribute to both old and new account

I have contributed partially in this tax year to a Lisa, if I transfer the Lisa entirely to a new provider, can I continue to contribute up to the LISA limit for the same tax year? The guidance seems unclear with some saying no once I have paid into the old provider and transferred I won't be able to pay until the new provider in the same tax year, but other guidance saying transfers don't count, so if I have contributed partially I can continue contributing to the new account despite the rule saying i can pay into 1 LISA a year because transfers don't count
