I have an annual salary of £50650 and an annual pension of £15767. The tax code on my salary payslip is BR and on my pension payslip it is 915L M1. Is anyone able to explain this for me please and confirm if I this will change at the end of this tax year? Thank you

Hi Donna Wilmshurst,
As your income from the pension and your employment will take you into the higher rate of tax and your employment taxed using the BR ()20% tax code) then there will be an adjustment in your main code 915L M1 to collect the tax due at the higher rate.
To review the code you will need to contact HMRC:
Income Tax: general enquiries
Thank you.
