Marriage Allowance- taking retirement

Good afternoon, for the last couple of years I have been claiming Marriage Allowance on behalf of myself and my wife. In May of this year, my wife took early retirement. Does this change in circumstances affect our claim for Marriage Allowance (my income is still less than £12000)? Thank you.
