I used to be self-employed (starting in 2014) and at that point I registered for a business account and have a business gateway account. In 2019 I stopped being self-employed and notified HMRC of this. I have since registered for a new personal gateway account (thinking this was the right thing to do) but when I log into this it says that my personal tax information much be accessed through the previous account (the business one). When I log into the business one, I can indeed see my current and up to date information, e.g. income tax, national insurance etc. I cannot see anything useful through the other personal account that I created. Is this correct? Should I continue to use the business account even though I am no longer self-employed and do not currently need to submit tax returns?
