Working for a non-UK based company as a contractor

Hi I started working in April 2024 for a US based company as a contractor, and I earn in USD. I'm self-employed for tax purposes. I'm a UK resident, but not a national. It's my first job in the UK and i've never paid taxes before in the UK. I have no idea where to start. Any guidance would be appreciated? Also whats the deadline for paying taxes, if i started work in April 2024. Thanks
