State pension not showing on tax account for previous years

I've noticed that state pension on a tax account through government gateway isn't showing anything, is this normal and has the tax been calculated correctly as dwp normally inform hmrc within 7 days that you have started collecting your state pension. Don't fancy getting a tax bill in years to come, kind regards gary

It can take some time for the state pension to show on your tax account. If it hasn't appeared after a month, contact HMRC to confirm it's recorded correctly.
