AVC to get income under £100000

I need to make an AVC to my private pension for income in the 2023-24 tax year but have not received my P60 yet to identify how much I need to pay in to reduce my income. I appreciate I am in a new tax year now but did nit have the full detail of the taxable income so can I apply the payment now to my 2023-24 assessment.

No. Any payment made now will give relief in the 2024 to 2025 tax year.
