Hi, I used to do SA when I was a higher rate tax payer, and a non coded income amount of £642 has appeared on my PAYE summary for 2023-2024 which I think represents interest and dividends I was earning in 2013-2014 (the last time I did SA) on which I paid tax and has been carried forward. I want to remove it as I am now a basic rate taxpayer and interest and dividends I earn all fall below the Personal Savings and Dividends Allowances I am allowed to earn before tax. If I remove the non coded amount and my savings and interest income all fall below the allowances, am I right to show the non coded item as £0? Or should I be saying I earn interest and dividends with an estimated figure based on last years amount?

Hi,
Yes, the non coded items should be 0, these figures can be carried forward from previous years SA returns.
Thank you.
