Interest on overdue refund

I'm owed £2499 refund on overpaid tax and it would seem likely that this may take some time to process. You were quite happy to levy late payment interest on me so will interest now be paid to me for any late refund on this amount? if so will this automatically be added.

If this is for the tax year 22/23 a repayment supplement will only be added if the refund is issued after 31/01/2024.
