Is Cash ISA tax free benefit on savings considered claiming public funds?

Hi. I am on BNO visa (British National Overseas visa) and hence I cannot claim public funds. If I open a cash ISA (Individual Savings Account) and earn tax free interest, am I claiming public funds? Thanks.

No, as you need to invest your own money in this.
