Tax code

Hello, I have been in contact with HMRC about my tax code on my payslips being wrong. The tax code that I have been receiving on them the last year is BR. They have now changed my tax code to the right tax code 1257L. I get paid weekly, my payslips go up on a Wednesday, however the tax code changed Monday 23rd October and have received my payslip today, to which my tax code is still says BR, shall I contact HMRC again or will it take time to show up on my payslips?

The tax code sent to the employer would be sent online and is normally received within 2-3 working days.
If not yet changed I would check with your employer to confirm if received before contacting HMRC.
