Hello, I will retire to UK soon. I will then become resident in UK and am a British national. I have Swiss state pension and company pensions. These were built up over many years working in Switzerland (whilst living in Germany as a cross boarder worker). The majority of the company pension contributions made were taxed. Do I need to pay tax on the monthly pension payments? Thanks

Hi Fampatrick,
As a UK resident, you will be taxable on your world-wide income in the UK.
The Uk / Swiss tax treaty confirms that your private pensions in Switzerland, will be taxable in the UK once arrive in the UK.
You will need to contact the Swiss tax authorities to arrange for you pensons to be paid tax free from that date.
Thank you.
