I have not lived in the UK since 2010. I moved my UK employee pension to a QROPS in Malta while living in Norway. I am currently living in France. The 5 years are coming up next year. I am already over 55 years. I might move outside of the European Union after the 5 years. I have 3 questions. 1. Will I be tax liable in the UK if I draw under the QROPS after the 5 years? 2. Will I be liable for UK tax if I draw under the QROPS before the 5 years come up. I know that there is a penalty from the QROPS fund, but that is separate from any tax obligations. I most likely will have to pay tax in France? 3. Is there a tax free amount/percentage if I draw sooner than the 5 years? Thank you
