For the past few years I have been working a zero hour job but since moving to university I have stopped doing work for them and have got a new job at uni. My tax code for the new job is 9T and the old one is 1245L as shown on government gateway. That means I am paying alot of tax on my only job. How do I move the 1245L tax code to my new job and can I backdate it as I have not worked at my old job since last December? Thanks

Hi,

If you update the estimated earnings for each job the tax codes will be amended accordingly.

Thank you.

Hi
If we have issued a new tax code any overpaid tax will be in your pay when the new code is applied.
