Qatar End of Service Payout

If you are a non UK resident and want to transfer approx £35k back home to own UK bank account, would you have to declare this or pay tax ? It hasn’t attracted interest in Qatar and is from employer as gratuity which is an end of service benefit. I don’t intend to return to the UK within this tax year.
