I received a letter from HMRC saying I am due a refund and if I go online, I can arrange a bank transfer. But when I go online to my account, it says i paid the right amount of tax? I know I will receive a cheque soon if i don't submit my bank details online but my bank is a digital one so doesn't accept cheques

If it says you have paid the correct amount of tax, it sounds as though the system has done another calculation.
