I recently found out that my mum held some shares that I wasn't aware of when she died in 2012. I applied for a grant of probate at the time and no inheritance tax was due as the estate value was below the threshold. The new value of her estate including the shares is still below the threshold. Do I need to notify HMRC of the change in the value of her estate? It has been 11 years since I was granted probate and there is no inheritance tax due. Thanks
