Tax Implications of SIPP transfer in the same tax year the contribution was made

Are there any restrictions if I transfer my SIPP to another provider (through a cash transfer) in the same tax year as the contribution was made? While I don't believe it makes a difference, I would like confirmation on whether utilising carry-forward quotas from previous years has any tax-related implications when transitioning to another provider.
