Getting an NT tax code after completing P85 form

I have submitted my P85 form having now moved permenantly overseas and online I can see that the status of this form is now marked as "Completed". I have a few follow up questions and would appreciate some support; 1. Is there anything else that needs to happen for my tax code to change to "NT" or does this happen automatically? 2. If it happens automatically, how long should I expect that to take? 3. Does my UK employer (who I am continuing to work for remotely) need to contact HMRC to obtain an updated tax code for PAYE or will they recieve the updated tax code automatically? Thank you

If all the information has been provided correctly on the form, the code NT will be issued when the form is processed.
This will be issued to you and your employer.
