Income tax refund

Hi there I had a cheque sent out for an income tax refund but it never arrived. I spoke to the team on the phone and they said as it was sent out a while ago and was for a large amount they would cancel the cheque and would reissue as a bank transfer. They said it would show as cancelled then reissued. Online it is showing as cancelled last Monday but not reissued yet, what is the current timescale for this to be reissued? Thanks

The current timescale to cancel and reissue the repayment is approximately 4 weeks.
