Stamp duty when change deeds

Hi, I’m currently the owner of a flat. I want to add my husband to deeds, either as tenants in common or joint tenants. I currently have mortgage (£200k), flat worth about £550k. We are getting a joint mortgage. Does my husband need to pay stamp duty if added on Deeds either of tenants in common or joint tenants? Thank you Lucy
