Tax Calculation confusing on on-line Tax Return

About to submit my online 2023-2024 Tax Return and printed off the Tax Calculation towards the end. Comparing with the previous years' one... on the line: Income Tax Due (/after tax reductions) [same figure] is LESS than the previous year, yet the bottom line: Total Income Tax Due is significantly more! How can that be right? Be grateful for any thoughts on this. Thanks. wharfhouse
