Certificate of Residence Extension

I have lived and worked in South Korea since August 2023 and am wanting to stay for another year. I have already completed a certificate of residence form before arriving in Korea for my first year working abroad but would like to complete one for this second year of working abroad. The request form asks "Have you ever left the UK to work overseas?" and "Have you ever been outside the UK for more than 183 days in any UK tax year?". For both of these question the answer is yes as I have worked in South Korea since 2023, but then it asks for the date of my return. As I have not yet returned what am I to answer? It will not allow me to submit a date in the future.

Hi Oliver,
You will not be able to submit this as you are not UK resident for the period from August 2023. we can only issue a certificate for when you were in the UK so any date up to August 2023 would be the end date.
