I am currently working where I have to work 2 weeks in hand for payment. I am due to start with a new employer who pays 1 week in hand.. There is going to be an overlap where I get 2 pays (1 from each employer) although for different weeks worked. I wouldn't be working 2 jobs at any time. Will this cause problems with the TAX office?

Hi,

No, it can just mean that both employers can pay you in the same pay period.

Once the payments are made and submitted to HMRC we will review to check the correct tax is paid and make any adjustment to your tax code if needed.

Thank you.
