If I choose to take the 25% tax free lump sum from my SIPP, is the amount based on total value of SIPP, i.e. cash & equities. Or, just on the cash portion?

Hi Romfordian,
You can usually take up to 25% of the amount built up in any pension as a tax-free lump sum.
