You can’t pay this tax here

I have been informed by HMRC that I owe some income tax. On the Government Gateway website, I clicked ‘Online payment options’ and selected ‘Pay the full £xxx by debit or business credit card,’ but the website displayed the message: ‘You can’t pay this tax here.’ I then tried selecting ‘Pay part of what you owe by debit or business credit card,’ but I received the same message: ‘You can’t pay this tax here.’ Could you please advise me on how I should proceed with paying the tax? This situation is quite stressful. Alternatively, could you look into fixing the issue on your website?
