Hello I expect to earn approximately £139000 this financial year. Have I calculated correctly that if I make a contribution to my SIPP of £22000 that my total pension contribution after tax relief (45%) will be £40000 leading to an adjusted taxable income of £99000? Logic = £40000 * 0.55 = £22000?
