My wife does not work so can get tax relief on total £3600 contributions to pension. If she now gets, for example, £5000 in savings interest does that count as relevant earnings allowing her to now get relief on up to £5000 of pension contributions? If savings interest is classed as relevant earnings can total savings earnings be used Or only interest over the personal tax free savings allowance? (Or some other adjustment)? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hi anybody,
No, savings are not earnings to increase the pension contribution.
Thank you.
