Delivery Partner Self Employment

Hi, I would like to know how I would go about staying on the right side of the tax law. I am currently full time employed and make the tax free allowance. To work as a delivery driver I assume that I would have to register for tax and pay national insurance as I already make the tax free amount. How would I go about this? Thanks
