Ending a partnership

Hi, i'd like to know how end a partnership. I cannot find any information on the process. the business has ceased operating long time ago. Many thanks

The nominated partner of the partnership will need to contact HMRC either by telephone on 0300 200 3310, via webchat here:
Self Assessment: general enquiries
Or in writing,to advise that the partnership has ceased.

I've contacted the general enquiries twice to notify ending a partnership. Both times they said they would arrange a call back from a techician to sort it out. Both times I waited in 3 days and no one called me back.
